Before beginning the MPN, you should have submitted the FAFSA and have your FAFSA PIN on hand. You should also check with your financial aid office to find out whether your school has specific instructions about the Stafford Loan process.

You also have the option to fill out a Stafford Loan MPN online, print it, sign it with a wet signature, and submit it by mail.
